ABOUT
Stones Cry is a family worship team consisting of Joel, June, Joy and Josiah. They travel across the nation sharing inspirational and contemporary Christian music in a wide variety of venues and settings including churches, schools and RV parks.
The ministry started as Sound Of The Trumpet in 1999 when Joel, a farm boy from North Dakota, felt the call to leave his Southern California job in construction for fulltime ministry. His wife June joined him fulltime two years later. Ever since Joy (2006) and Josiah (2008) were born they gradually took part in the music side of things until 2017 when they truly became a full band and they changed the name to Stones Cry taken from Luke 19:40.

Joel
Joel, aka Dad, is the one who started it all with Sound of the Trumpet 21 years ago. His main passion will always be the trumpet, which is loved by all who hear it, but he also fills in a lot with electric guitar and bass.
June
June, the daughter of former missionaries, Lu and Addie Mathison, is the one who keeps everyone in line with drums and percussion on stage, and as Mom off stage.
Joy
Joy is 16 and loves music, but she's very selective. She sings lead, plays the guitar, keyboard, and violin. She shares the job of marketing with Joel. She likes school and is definitely a people person.

Josiah
Josiah is 15 and is great at anything he puts his mind to. He plays guitar and bass, as well as sings lead. He spends his free time reading books, playing video games, and solving Rubix cubes
